Welcome to my wonderful world of Linux, programming and technology!

Let me introduce myself
#

I am Jeroen Marsman, Linux enthusiast from the Netherlands and working at Elitelabs. On daily base i create and maintain backend-systems and webapplications, analyzing networks, doing security stuff and sysadmin work. With a modern term that’s called dev ops nowadays, but i keep it with software developer or system administrator.

Both business and private i spend most of my time at my Debian machine. Which is running i3 as window-manager, uses tmux to get access to my code, e-mail and chat from every location. On top of that this goes combined with a healthy dose of Vim and Mutt.

Why this website?
#

With this site i want to share knowledge i gained the past years. This can be tutorials or for example subjects as a new discovery in Vim, how to deploy a Laravel application with Docker, how to spot airplanes with the HackRF or … i think you get the point, everything computer related. On Linux of course ;-)

Roomtour
#

A short tour of my working room / playground.

There is a lot more. In the past a couple of servers where running here with a lot of noise. These are moved to their own room. Next time, if i can gather the courage to clean up, i will show them as well.

Next-up
#

In December i will kick off a new tutorial about installing and configuring NeoMutt from scratch. NeoMutt is the text-based e-mailclient for the command line.

Check out this site and until that time i wish you happy hollidays!
